A five-step program focused on understanding your organization’s emergency readiness
01 — Request a Consultation
Meet with a First Line 360 team member to discuss your organization, emergency-readiness needs, and the services we provide. We’ll walk you through the pre-assessment, on-site evaluation, analysis and reporting process, recommendations review, scope of services, scheduling, and pricing.
The goal: Understand your organization and determine the right assessment scope.
02 — Pre-Assessment Survey
Before our visit, organizational leadership and selected employees complete a questionnaire about existing emergency plans, policies, procedures, resources, training, and response protocols.
This gives our team a better understanding of your current preparedness and helps identify areas that deserve closer evaluation during the on-site assessment.
The goal: Understand what you currently have in place before we evaluate in person.
03 — On-Site Readiness Assessment
Our team comes to your organization to evaluate how your emergency plans, people, resources, and response systems work in practice. Through direct observation, staff interviews, and practical knowledge assessments, we evaluate whether employees can recognize an emergency, activate the appropriate response, access critical resources, and carry out organization-specific emergency procedures.
Our assessment examines six essential areas of emergency readiness. Each domain looks beyond whether a policy or resource simply exists, we evaluate whether it is accessible, understood, functional, and capable of supporting an effective response.
What Does Workplace Emergency Preparedness and Readiness Consulting Look Like?
Here’s one example of how we go beyond the checklist to evaluate whether your organization is truly prepared
04 — Analysis & Readiness Report
Following the assessment, our team analyzes the findings and prepares a detailed report outlining your organization’s strengths, vulnerabilities, critical findings, and opportunities for improvement.
Your report includes Weighted Readiness Scoring, with individual domain scores and an overall classification of Ready, Partially Ready, or Not Ready; Critical Findings, identifying high-priority deficiencies that could delay, impair, or create an unsafe emergency response.
We also provide actionable recommendations, providing practical improvements tailored to your organization and, where appropriate, referrals for additional training, resources, or certifications.
The goal: Turn observations into objective findings and actionable changes.
05 — Recommendations Review
We meet with your leadership team and staff to review the assessment results, explain key findings, discuss identified vulnerabilities, and answer questions about recommended improvements.
Your organization receives a Prioritized Corrective-Action Roadmap that organizes recommendations according to urgency and impact—helping leadership understand what should be addressed first, what can be improved over time, and where additional resources or training may be beneficial.
The goal: Give your organization a practical path forward—not simply a report.
We don’t just identify what your organization has. We evaluate whether your people, plans, resources, and response systems are prepared to work together when an emergency occurs.
Our goal is to leave your leadership team with a clear understanding of its current readiness, its most important vulnerabilities, and practical next steps toward a stronger emergency response.
Prepared when it matters most!
